[in LXX: Ne 3:25 (עֶלְיוֹן), Ez 41:7 (מַעַל), To 8:3*;] only in neut., as adv. (cf. ἐξώτερος),

(a) of motion, higher: Lk 14:10;

(b) of rest, above, before: He 10:8.†
