1. Trans. (cl.), to irradiate.

2. Intrans.

(a) (poët.), to see clearly (so perh. II Co 4:4; MM, s.v.);

(b) as in LXX, to shine forth: II Co 4:4 (cf. δι-, κατ-αυγάζω).†
