ἡσυχάζω

[in LXX chiefly for שׁקט;]

to be still;

(a) to rest from labour: Lk 23:56;

(b) to live quietly: I Th 4:11;

(c) to be silent: Lk 14:3, Ac 11:1821:14 (cf. Jb 32:7, Ne 5:8).†
