1. of the man, to marry, take to wife (ducere): absol., Mt 19:1022:25, 3024:38, Mk 12:25, Lk 17:27, 20:34, 35, I Co 7:28, 33; c. acc.: Mt 5:3219:9, Mk 6:1710:11, Lk 14:2016:18.

2. Of the woman,

(a) mid. (and in late writers, pass.), to give oneself in marriage, marry (nubere): I Co 7:39;

(b) in Hellenistic (M, Pr., 159), act. (as of the man), to marry: absol., I Co 7:28, 34, I Ti 5:11, 14. c acc., Mk 10:12.
