κεφαλίς, -ίδος, ἡ

(dimin. of κεφαλή), [in LXX for מְגִלָּה, וָו, etc.;]

1. a little head.

2. an extremity, capital (of a column).

3. (As in Ez 2:9, Ps 39 (40):8, II Es 6:2) a roll: κ. βιβλίου, He 10:7^(LXX).†
