blunt, dull. Metaph., of the senses, esp.

(a) of speech, dumb: Mt 9:32, 3312:2215:30, 31, Lk 1:2211:14;

(b) of hearing, deaf: Mt 11:5, Mk 7:32, 379:25, Lk 7:22.†
