1. son of Abraham (Ge 25:2).

2. An Arabian tribe (Ge 36:35, Ps 82 (83):9, al).

3. γῆ Μ. (Heb. אֶרֶץמִדְיָן), the land of Midian (Ex 2:15, al.): Ac 7:29.†
