1. a tool, implement, instrument: ὅπλα ἀδικίας (opp. to ὅ. δικαιοσύνης), Ro 6:13.

2. Freq., in pl., arms, weapons: Jo 18:3, II Co 10:4; metaph., τ. φωτός, Ro 13:12; τ. δικαιοσύνης, II Co 6:7.†
