(< ἀπαντάω), [in LXX chiefly for לִקְרַאת;]

usually with v.l., ὑπ-; a meeting; εἰς ἀ., c. gen. or dat., to meet: Mt 25:627:32 (WH, txt., omits), Ac 28:15, I Th 4:17 (v. M, Th., in l.; M, Pr., 14, 242; MM, VGT, s.v.; Lft., Notes, 69).†
