ἐπι-δίδωμι

[in LXX for נָתַן, etc.;]

1. to give over, to hand: c. acc rei et dat. pers., Mt 7:9, 10, Lk 11:11, 12 24:30, 42, Ac 15:30; pass. c. dat. pers., Lk 4:17.

2. to give in, give way: absol., Ac 27:15.†
