ὁδηγέω

ὁδηγέω, -ῶ

(< ὁδηγός), [in LXX chiefly for נחה, also for דּרךְ hi., הלךְ hi., etc.;]

to lead on one's way, to guide: c. acc. pers., Mt 15:14, Lk 6:39; id. seq. ἐπί, Re 7:17. Metaph., to guide, instruct, teach: Ac 8:31; seq. εἰς τ. ἀλήθειαν (ἐν τ. ἀ., WH, mg.), Jo 16:13 (cf. Ps 24 (25):5).†
