(< ὄζω), [in LXX chiefly for רֵיחַ;]

a smell, odour: Jo 12:3; metaph. (EV, savour), II Co 2:14, 16; of the effect of sacrifice (cf. רֵיחַ הַגִּיחֹחַ, Ge 8:21, al., v.s. εὐωδία), ὀ. εὐωδίας, Eph 5:2, Phl 4:18.†
