AndJAMBRESwere two of the principal Egyptian magicians, who withstood Moses and Aaron by attempting to imitate the miracles, which they exhibited. See Ex 7:11, etc. These names are not found in the Old Testament, but are often mentioned in the rabbinical books, 2Ti 3:8.
