(2) The head of a family that returned from the exile with Zerubbabel (Ezr 2:5;Ne 7:10). He is sometimes identified with Arah ofNe 6:18whose grand-daughter became the wife of Tobiah, the Ammonite who tried to thwart Nehemiah in rebuilding Jerusalem.
