2. of divine persons, "chaste, pure", Od.

II. of persons, "undefiled, chaste, pure", Aesch., Eur.: c. gen. "pure from" a thing, Eur.

2. "pure from blood, guiltless", Soph.; ἁγνὸς χεῖρας Eur.

3. in moral sense, "pure, upright", Xen.; adv., ἁγνῶς ἔχειν to be "pure", id=Xen.
