μέμφομαι

1. "to blame, censure, find fault with" a person or thing, c. acc., Hes., Hdt., attic

2. c. dat. pers. et acc. rei, "to impute as blameworthy, cast" it "in" his "teeth", Lat. exprobrare or "objicere alicui", Hdt., attic

3. c. dat. pers. only, "to find fault with", Trag.;—c. gen. rei only, "to complain of" a thing, Eur., Thuc.; and with both these cases, τοῦδ᾽ ἂν οὐδεὶς μέμψαιτό μοι no one "would find fault with" me "for" this, Aesch.

4. c. inf. with μή pleonastic, μ. μὴ πολλάκις βουλεύεσθαι "to impute blame for" doing, Thuc.
