I. "to be or become full of" a thing, c. gen., Il., Aesch.; χεῖρας κρεῶν πλήθοντες "having" them "full of" flesh, Aesch.; c. dat., Theocr.: absol. of rivers, "to be full, brimming", Il.; so, πλήθουσα Σελήνη "at her full", id=Il.; ἀγορᾶς πληθούσης, ἐν ἀγορᾷ πληθούσῃ, etc., v. sub ἀγορά V.
