Absinth

{ Ab″sinth′, Ab″sinthe′ } (ăb″sĭnth′), n. [F. absinthe. See Absinthium.] 1. The plant absinthium or common wormwood.

2. A strong spirituous liqueur made from wormwood and brandy or alcohol.
