Ac′cu‐ba″tion (ăk‐kū̍‐bā″shŭn), n. [L. accubatio, for accubitio, fr. accubare to recline; ad + cubare to lie down. See Accumb.] The act or posture of reclining on a couch, as practiced by the ancients at meals.
