A‐clin″ic (ȧ‐klĭn″ĭk), a. [Gr. ἀ priv. + κλίνειν to incline.] (Physics.) Without inclination or dipping; — said of the imaginary line near the earth's equator on which the magnetic needle balances itself horizontally, having no dip.
