Ad‐ven″ture, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Adventured (�); p. pr. & vb. n.Adventuring (�).] [OE. aventuren, auntren, F. aventurer, fr. aventure. See Adventure, n.] 1. To risk, or hazard; jeopard; to venture.

He would not adventure himself into the theater.
