Af″flu‐ent (�), a. [Cf. F. affluent, L. affluens, -entis, p. pr. See Affluence.] 1. Flowing to; flowing abundantly. “Affluent blood.” Harvey.

2. Abundant; copious; plenteous; hence, wealthy; abounding in goods or riches.
