‖A‐ger″a‐tum (ȧ‐jĕr″ȧ‐tŭm or ăj′ẽr‐ā″tŭm), n. [NL., fr. Gr. αγἤρατον a sort of plant; priv. + γήρασ old age.] (Bot.) A genus of plants, one species of which (A. Mexicanum) has lavender-blue flowers in dense clusters.
