Analcime

A‐nal″cime (�), n. [Gr. αν̓ priv. + ἄλκιμοσ strong, αλκἤ strength: cf. F. analcime.] (Min.) A white or flesh-red mineral, of the zeolite family, occurring in isometric crystals. By friction, it acquires a weak electricity; hence its name.
