A‐nas″to‐mose (�), v. i. [imp. & p. p.Anastomozed (�); p. pr. & vb. n.Anastomosing.] [Cf. F. anastomoser, fr. anastomose. See Anastomosis.] (Anat. & Bot.) To inosculate; to intercommunicate by anastomosis, as the arteries and veins.
