{ As″per‐gill (�), ‖As′per‐gil″lum (�), } n. [LL. aspergillum, fr. L. aspergere. See Asperse, v. t.] 1. The brush used in the Roman Catholic church for sprinkling holy water on the people. [Also written aspergillus.]
