A‐syn″de‐ton (�), n. [L., fr. Gr. �, fr. � unconnected; ἀ priv. + � bound together, fr. �; � with + � to bind.] (Rhet.) A figure which omits the connective; as, I came, I saw, I conquered. It stands opposed to polysyndeton.
