‖Bad′i‐a″ga (băd′ĭā″gȧ or bȧd‐yä″gȧ), n. [Russ. badiaga.] (Zoöl.) A fresh-water sponge (Spongilla), common in the north of Europe, the powder of which is used to take away the livid marks of bruises.
