‖Ba‐sil″i‐con (�), n. [L. basilicon, Gr. βασιλικόν neut. of βασιλικόσ cf. F. basilicon. See Basilica.] (Med.) An ointment composed of wax, pitch, resin, and olive oil, lard, or other fatty substance.
