Bewail

Be‐wail″ (�), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Bewailed (�); p. pr. & vb. n.Bewailing.] To express deep sorrow for, as by wailing; to lament; to wail over.

Hath widowed and unchilded many a one,

Which to this hour bewail the injury.
