Boose (bo͞os), n. [AS. bōs, bōsig; akin to Icel. bāss, Sw. bås, Dan. baas, stall, G. banse, Goth. bansts barn, Skr. bhāsas stall. √252.] A stall or a crib for an ox, cow, or other animal. Halliwell.
