‖Car″pus (kär″pŭs), n.; pl.Carpi (–pī). [NL., fr. Gr. καρπόσ wrist.] (Anat.) The wrist; the bones or cartilages between the forearm, or antibrachium, and the hand or forefoot; in man, consisting of eight short bones disposed in two rows.
