Cat″ar‐rhine (?), n. [Gr. κατάρρισ with hanging or curved nose; κατά down + ρἵσ, ρινὅσ nose.] (Zoöl.) One of the Catarrhina, a division of Quadrumana, including the Old World monkeys and apes which have the nostrils close together and turned downward. See Monkey.
