Cel″er‐y (?), n. [F. céleri, cf. Prov. It. seleno, seler; fr. Gr. � parsley, in Lgr. & NGr. celery. Cf. Parsley.] (Bot.) A plant of the Parsley family (Apium graveolens), of which the blanched leafstalks are used as a salad.
