Chilognatha

‖Chi‐log″na‐tha (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. � lip + γνάθοσ Jaw.] (Zoöl.) One of the two principal orders of myriapods. They have numerous segments, each bearing two pairs of small, slender legs, which are attached ventrally, near together.
