Chilostoma

{ ‖Chi‐los″to‐ma (?), Chi‐lo‐stom″a‐ta (?), } n. pl.(Zoöl.) An extensive suborder of marine Bryozoa, mostly with calcareous shells. They have a movable lip and a lid to close the aperture of the cells. [Also written Chillostomata.]
