Chol″er (?), n. [OE. coler, F. colère anger, L. cholera a bilious complaint, fr. Gr. � cholera, fr. �, χολή, bile. See Gall, and cf. Cholera.] 1. The bile; — formerly supposed to be the seat and cause of irascibility.
