Chrys‐an″the‐mum (?), n. [L., fr. Gr. �; χρυσόσ gold + � flower.] (Bot.) A genus of composite plants, mostly perennial, and of many species including the many varieties of garden chrysanthemums (annual and perennial), and also the feverfew and the oxeye daisy.
