Chrys‐o″ï‐dine (?), n. [Gr. χρυσόσ gold + -oid + -ine.] (Chem.) An artificial, yellow, crystalline dye, C6H5N2.C6H3(NH2)2. Also, one of a group of dyestuffs resembling chrysoïdine proper.
