Col″o‐pho‐nite (kŏl″ō̍‐fō̍‐nīt or kō̍‐lŏf″ō̍‐nīt), n. [Cf. F. colophonite. So named from its resemblance to the color of colophony.] (Min.) A coarsely granular variety of garnet.
