‖Comp‐sog″na‐thus (kŏmp‐sŏg″nȧ‐thŭs), n. [NL., fr. Gr. κομπόσ elegant, pretty + γνάθοσ jaw.] (Zoöl.) A genus of Dinosauria found in the Jurassic formation, and remarkable for having several birdlike features.
