Convallamarin

Con‐val′la‐ma″rin (kŏn‐văl′lȧ‐mā″rĭn), n. [Convallaria + L. amarus bitter.] (Chem.) A white, crystalline, poisonous substance, regarded as a glucoside, extracted from the lily of the valley (Convallaria Majalis). Its taste is first bitter, then sweet.
