Coo (?), v. i. [imp. & p. p.Cooed (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Cooing.] 1. To make a low repeated cry or sound, like the characteristic note of pigeons or doves.

The stockdove only through the forest cooes,

Mournfully hoarse.
