Cop″pice (kŏp″pĭs), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Coppiced (–pĭst); p. pr. & vb. n.Coppicing (?).] (Forestry) To cause to grow in the form of a coppice; to cut back (as young timber) so as to produce shoots from stools or roots.
