Cordiality

Cor‐dial″i‐ty (kôr‐jăl″ĭ‐ty̆ or kôr′dĭ‐ăl″–; 106), n.; pl.Cordialities (–tĭz). [LL. cordialitas, fr. cordialis sincere: cf. F. cordialité.] 1. Relation to the heart.

That the ancients had any respect of cordiality or reference unto the heart, will much be doubted.
