{ Cos‐met″ic (k?z–m?t″?k), Cos‐met″ic‐al (–?–kal), } a. [Gr. κοσμιτικόσ skilled in decorating, fr. κόσμοσ order, ornament: cf. F. cosmétique. See Cosmos.] Imparting or improving beauty, particularly the beauty of the complexion; as, a cosmetical preparation.
