Cros‐sette″ (kr?s–s?t′), n. [F., dim. of crosse. See Crosier.] (Arch.) (a) A return in one of the corners of the architrave of a door or window; — called also ancon, ear, elbow. (b) The shoulder of a joggled keystone.
