‖Cryp‐tu″ri (krĭp‐tū″rī), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. κρυπτόσ hidden + ουρἄ tail.] (Zoöl.) An order of flying, dromæognathous birds, including the tinamous of South America. See Tinamou.
