‖Cte‐noph″o‐ra (t?–n?f″?–r?), n. pl.(Zoöl.) A class of Cœlenterata, commonly ellipsoidal in shape, swimming by means of eight longitudinal rows of paddles. The separate paddles somewhat resemble combs.
