‖Cy′clo‐ga‐noi″de‐i (s?″kl?–g?–noi″d?–?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. κύκλοσ circle + NL. ganoidei. See Ganoid.] (Zoöl.) An order of ganoid fishes, having cycloid scales. The bowfin (Amia calva) is a living example.
